Our physical therapists at CTS provide therapeutic services to progress gross motor milestone development, restore function, relieve pain, improve balance, mobility and coordination, and limit permanent physical disabilities in children suffering from an illness or disease. Our team is made up of highly trained individuals who are dedicated to providing a fun, safe, educational approach to the treatment of your child through evidence based practices.
We proudly treat a variety of children, from birth through 21 years of age, for a wide range of reasons including nerve, brain, muscle, or bone disorders. We also provide treatment for orthopedic conditions such as Torticollis, sports-related injuries, and toe walking. Not to mention physical therapy for children with genetic, metabolic, and cardiac diagnoses.
Getting your child started with PT
Once you have received a referral for physical therapy, and contacted our office for an appointment, you will be scheduled for an evaluation. An evaluation is a specific dedicated time for your therapist to take a comprehensive look at your child and assess range of motion, strength, balance and coordination, posture and gross motor milestone progression. This is also an opportunity for you, as the parent, to have undivided time allowing for communication of your concerns and ensuring that together we customize a plan of care addressing all your child's needs. If it is determined, at that time, that your child can benefit from physical therapy, we will help access insurance coverage and set you up with appointments around your schedule.
